The University of the Arts London was established in 2004 and specializes in art and design. It has around 19,000 students, drawing together six colleges with excellent reputations in art, design, fashion and performing arts.
Next Big Leap worked with staff to fix and improve the Creative Opportunities website, and provide ongoing maintenance services. Communication via Basecamp (our project management system), emails, regular phone calls and Skype conversations ensured a good working relationship was maintained.
Fixing and Improving the Website
The Creative Opportunities website and server had many issues that needed to be dealt with to improve the website user experience. Next Big Leap worked closely with University of the Arts London staff. We listened to the problems they were having, investigated them and then fixed them as efficiently as possible.
Maintenance of the Website
As well as fixing bugs, the website required a new set of features to be implemented. As part of our maintenance services, Next big Leap introduced additional jobs features to the website, such as: advertising jobs, a job board, jobseeker portal, c.v. export of details, taking employer adverts and turning them into premium adverts using UAL's payment gateway.
